BOOK YOUR FREE VIRTUAL SCHOOL SESSION

As we learn to live with a worldwide pandemic and the restrictions that come along with it we understand the difficulty of visiting schools in person. That’s why, for the foreseeable future, we are offering a FREE virtual school session to every primary or secondary school interested.

Sessions can be adapted to last 15-30 minutes with content suitable for students aged 8+.

Typical topics include an introduction to me (Jason) and the work I do as the founder of Rubbish Walks CIC, how litter, single-use plastics and the other things we throw away impact us and the environment and ideas about what we can do to reduce that impact.

It will also be possible to answer student questions during the session.

If you are interested in reserving your FREE session please get in touch using the form below.

OUR WORKSHOPS

We have developed three wonderfully interactive and inspirational workshops that can be tailored to engage and inspire students from key stage 2 to key stage 4.

Unfortunately, due to current COVID-19 restrictions our workshops are not currently available. However, if you are interested to find out more please get in touch.

THE REALLY RUBBISH PUPPET STUDIO

In this fun and informative workshop we bring to life the issues of litter and plastic pollution with the use of puppets.

Students are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to make their own puppets out of recycled materials and litter.

We finish with a performance of an important anti-littering message. Great fun!

TRASH, BANG, WALLOP

Our Trash, Bang, Wallop workshops are always fun and usually noisy too!

In this fun and informative workshop we bring to life the issues of litter and plastic pollution by encouraging students to make their own musical instruments using recycled materials and litter.

We finish with a performance of an important anti-littering message. Groovy!

TRASH MOTION ANIMATION

Stop motion animation is a brilliant way to bring to life the issues of litter and plastic pollution.

Students are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to animate characters and stories using recycled materials and litter.

By the end of the workshop students will have created a range of short animated videos highlighting  important anti-littering messages. Action!
